Toronto, ON – June 9, 2025 – The Coffee Association of Canada (CAC) is excited to announce its highly anticipated annual conference, taking place on Wednesday, November 5 at Angus Glen in Markham (north Toronto). With the theme “Common Grounds,” this year’s event will bring together over 200 leaders from across the coffee industry for a full day of insights, inspiration, and connection.

Kicking off the day is Doug Porter, Chief Economist at BMO Financial Group, who will set the stage with a state of the nation address, offering valuable economic context for the year ahead.

Always a crowd favourite, Dr. Sylvain Charlebois, the “Food Professor,” returns to share his perspective on the food and beverage landscape. Sustainability and the future of coffee will be key themes woven throughout the day, with opportunities for attendees to engage in forward-looking conversations about the challenges and innovations shaping the industry.

“The Coffee Association of Canada (CAC) Conference continues to be the place where Canada’s coffee industry comes together to share knowledge, spark ideas, and strengthen connections,” says Robert Carter, President of the Coffee Association of Canada. “Our core purpose at CAC is to support Canada’s coffee industry through education, advocacy and connection. This year’s theme, Common Grounds, reflects our commitment to collaboration and progress as we navigate the future of coffee—together.”

The agenda will also feature data-rich presentations from top research firms, including:

  • Cheryl Hung, Dig Insights
