The CAC is pleased to announce that Sophie Bélanger, Marketing Director, Owned and Licensed Coffee Brands, KDP Canada, is taking on the role of Chair of the Coffee Association of Canada (CAC), effective immediately.
Sophie joined the CAC Board in 2023 and has served as Vice-Chair since June 2025. She has been an active member of the Governance & Executive, Marketing and Government Relations committees.
We are confident that Sophie’s leadership will inspire continued growth and innovation for the Association, while ensuring we deliver meaningful value to our members.
On behalf of CAC’s Board of Directors, Governance Committees, and membership, we extend our sincere thanks to Kim Cunningham for her passion, leadership, and dedication in advancing the CAC’s mission over the past several years as Chair, and previously as an active Board member. Kim’s wealth of knowledge and expertise was instrumental in shaping the CAC’s current Strategic Plan which has guided the Association through challenging and changing times. We wish her every success in her future endeavours as she departs Mother Parker’s.
Nominations for a new Vice-Chair will be sought, with Board voting to follow in due course.
